The present application relates to a method for detecting dioxin. According to the method for detecting dioxin, an average recovery rate of dioxin can be stably ensured when dioxin is detected from a wastewater sample, and accordingly, a prompt analysis can be achieved by increasing a precision of the analysis and reducing the number of repeated experiments due to a recovery rate problem. A method for detecting remaining organic contaminants includes an extraction step of extracting a sample to form an extraction liquid; a refinement step of refining the extraction liquid; a drying step of drying the refined sample; and a device analyzing step of analyzing the dried sample, wherein a rinsing solvent used in the drying step is a solvent a vapor pressure of which is not more than 100 mmHg at room temperature.
