The present invention relates to a method of diagnosing a response of a plant to abiotic stress or an herbicide using a thermal image which uses a thermal imaging camera to acquire a thermal image and undergo an image processing step to obtain a temperature of a plant. Therefore, the diagnosing method according to the present invention can be applied to construction of an automated system which aims to diagnose a physiological response of a crop to environmental stress or a biologically active substance and a response of a weed to an herbicide or a biologically active substance to develop a species by selecting a crop resistant to environmental stress, develop a growth regulator or an herbicide by screening a biologically active substance or an herbicide, and diagnose a resistant weed.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
