The present invention relates to a Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae HB01014 strain, and to a composition for diagnosis thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to: a Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae HB01014 strain with an accession number of KACC17860, a kit, and a method for detecting the infection thereof; a composition for diagnosing bacterial blight, a kit, and a diagnosis method thereof; and a primer set for detecting the Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae HB01014 strain. In the case of using the composition for detecting the Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae HB01014 strain of the present invention, the HB01014 strain for generating bacterial blight can be specifically detected, thereby being broadly used for the control through the early diagnosis of bacterial blight.
