The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, treating or alleviating skin disease, which comprises an extract of Cassia obtusifolia l. and an extract of Hovenia dulcis in a dry weight ratio of 1 : 0.5-5, and may further comprise extracts of one or more herbs selected from the group consisting of Allium tuberosum seeds, Astragalus membranaceus, Angelica gigas, Pueraria thunbergiana, Atractylodes japonica Koidzumi, Paeonia lactiflora Pallas, the mature skin of Citrus unshiu and Glycyrrhiza uralensis. Since the composition of the present invention is made from plant extracts that have been used for human consumption for a long time and does not have side effects such as those caused by steroids, it is safe for long-term consumption and can be effectively used in treating intractable skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, keratosis, prurigo, and warts.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
