The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a thermoelectric material, comprising the steps of: (1) immersing a thermoelectric material formed on a substrate in acidic solution; (2) rinsing the thermoelectric material of the step 1; and (3) thermally processing the thermoelectric material of the step 2. The method provides an effect of largely increasing the thermoelectric characteristics of the thermoelectric material through a chemical process using the acidic solution. Moreover, the method can be performed with a process for immersing the thermoelectric material in the acidic solution material only, and does not negatively affect thin film formation, thereby being applied to various substrates, sizes and shapes of thermoelectric materials.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
