The present invention relates to a binder; an electrode comprising the binder and an electrode active material; and a secondary cell and a supercapacitor, which are provided with the electrode. The binder contains a first polymer formed by branching unit blocks comprising at least one poly(propylene oxide) (PPO) block and at least one poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) block, wherein the first polymer is formed by binding the unit blocks provided with a functional group having ends capable of being branched, the unit block being a linear block copolymer or being obtained by substituting 1,2-diaminoethane derivatives with two or more linear block copolymers.
