The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for correcting a fuel amount of a wheel loader, wherein the method comprises the following steps of: determining whether a vehicle control unit is a refueling mode or a driving / working mode using a fuel amount deviation (A) displaying difference of a fuel amount measured by using a fuel amount displayed in a display unit and a fuel sensor, a vehicle speed (C) measured by using a vehicle speed sensor, and an engine RPM (B) measured by using a vehicle speed maintaining time (D) and an engine RPM sensor; calculating a fuel amount using an infinite impact response filter (IIR Filter) wherein a filter coefficient is different in each mode by means of the vehicle control unit; and displaying the fuel amount calculated by the vehicle control unit through the display unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
