The present invention relates to a scalable universal sensor node platform for the condition monitoring and diagnosis (CMD) of a substation and, more specifically, to an IEC 61850-based scalable universal sensor node platform that is scalable as an arbitrary logical node undefined in IEC 61850 can be added when the sensor node platform is used for a sensor node or a terminal node on IEC 61850-90-3. The present invention can be rendered scalable using any one selected among first configuration information for configuring the sensor node platform to operate as a terminal node on IEC 61850, second configuration information for configuring the sensor node platform to operate as a sensor node on IEC61850 and third configuration information for configuring the sensor node platform to operate as an arbitrary node. The IEC 61850-based universal sensor node platform comprises: an acquisition part for acquiring a sensing value; a control part for generating logical node information on the acquired data and transmitting the logical node information to an upper node through a communication part; and a communication part including communication protocols.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
