WAVE INFORMATION ESTIMATION METHOD USING A RADAR IMAGE

The present invention relates to a method for estimating wave information by using a radar image capable of developing a system for estimating a wave direction, applying the same to real sea, and estimating the wave direction by using image data obtained in a voyage radar. Ambiguity for the direction shown in a 2D spectrum of the radar image uses continuous radar images having a constant time interval generated by a time interval (a rotation time interval of a radar antenna) of the radar image. Spaces of rectangular coordinate images having the constant time interval are changed by 3D fast Fourier transform.
