The present invention relates to a rotating axis defect diagnostics system for a centrifugal pump, which detects a defect in the alignment status of a rotating axis, which is rotating, to stop the pump immediately and take follow-up measures. The rotating axis defect diagnostics system of the present invention comprises: a pump casing (16); a rotating axis (12) placed in the pump casing (16) to rotate; and an impeller (14) combined and interlinked with the rotating axis (12). One side of the rotating axis (12) comprises: a photo sensor unit (30) which can detect defective vibration caused by a defect in the alignment status of the rotating axis (12); a control unit (40) to control the operation of the photo sensor unit (30); and a terminal (50) to communicate with the control unit (40) and notify the defective alignment status of the rotating axis (12).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
