The present invention relates to a terrain tracking flight display method. Provided is the terrain tracking flight display method comprising: an objective flight altitude input unit to input an objective flight altitude; a needed vertical acceleration calculation step of calculating a vertical acceleration which is necessary so that an aircraft reaches the objective flight altitude by using aircraft flight information and geographic information; and a display step in which a symbol is displayed on a screen according to the calculated vertical acceleration. The terrain tracking flight display method and a device thereof according to the present invention changes the position of the symbol displayed based on the objective flight altitude, removes frequent movements of the symbol, and prevents pilot-induced oscillation after passing through a velocity dependence delay step. Therefore, terrain tracking flight can be easy and optimum flying quality can be obtained after a pilot time delay step.
