The present invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring a chest compression rate and a chest compression depth during cardiopulmonary resuscitation training. According to the present invention, the apparatus for monitoring the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training includes a dummy, a kinetic-electric energy conversion unit, a voltage measurement unit, a calculation unit, and a display unit. The kinetic-electric energy conversion unit is installed on the chest of the dummy to convert kinetic energy of the chest, which is generated from the dummy due to compression, into electric energy. The voltage measurement unit measures voltage generated from the kinetic-electric energy conversion unit. The calculation unit receives the voltage from the voltage measurement unit to calculate the chest compression rate and the chest compression depth of the dummy. The display unit displays the chest compression rate and the chest compression depth calculated by the calculation unit. In addition, the apparatus for monitoring the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training according to the present invention further includes a battery and a battery charging unit to charge the battery with the electric energy generated from the kinetic-electric energy conversion unit.
