The present invention relates to a tissue detecting apparatus to detect a biological tissue having an outer membrane having polarization property, which includes: a light source part to irradiate a light; a first polarizing plate which is installed rotatably using a light path as an axis on the light path of the light irradiated by the light source part, and polarizes the light from the light source part by being polarized in a first polarization direction; a photographing part to photograph the light reflected from the biological tissue after being polarized by the first polarizing plate; a second polarizing plate which is arranged on a light path between the biological tissue and the photographing part, and blocks transmission of the light polarized in the first polarization direction of the light toward the photographing part by being polarized in a second polarization direction vertical to the first polarization direction; and a control part which controls the photographing part to photograph at least two imaged while rotating the first polarizing plate, and detects the biological tissue on the basis of brightness variation of a pixel on at least two images. Therefore, the tissue detecting apparatus can detect the biological tissue whose outer membrane has polarization property such as nerves or ligaments, while being able to be distinguished from other biological tissues.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
