The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising luteolin-6-C-fucopyranoside having skin whitening and anti-aging effects and, more particularly, to a cosmetic composition comprising luteolin-6-C-fucopyranoside as an effective component for skin whitening and anti-aging effects. The luteolin-6-C-fucopyranoside of the present invention has an ability to eliminate free radicals, an effect of inhibiting activation of elastase, and an effect of inhibiting an activation of tyrosinase, thereby being useful as an effective component of a cosmetic composition for alleviating skin wrinkles, enhancing skin elasticity, antioxidation, and skin whitening.
