The present invention relates to a steam trap valve with elliptical free float, capable of easily limiting vertical movement by having the elliptical float formed lengthwise in a vertical direction and capable of being smoothly operated without malfunctions even though a screen is not installed by receiving no impact caused by condensate. The steam trap valve with an elliptical free float includes a valve casing having a first valve chamber formed in an inlet in one side of a partitioning wall and a second valve chamber formed in an outlet in the other side of the partitioning wall and including an orifice formed in a lower part of the partitioning wall and allowing a fluid flow between the first and second valve chambers and the elliptical float received in the first valve chamber to be lifted upward and downward, allowing the fluid to flow through the orifice by being moved upward by buoyancy when the condensate flows in the first valve chamber and preventing the fluid flow by blocking an inlet of the orifice by being moved downward, and formed lengthwise in a vertical direction than a horizontal direction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
