The present invention relates to a method for distinguishing a place of origin of lacquer trees. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for distinguishing a place of origin of lacquer trees, applying an analytical technique based on a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) by standardizing a lacquer extract by making a comparison and an analysis on distinctions of the lacquer extract, depending on production regions using a specific compound as an indicator. In addition, an HPLC assay on the components containing the lacquer extract and information derived from observed peaks in the HPLC, based on the analytical qualification, can be useful for making a prediction on the standard and the efficacy of the lacquer extract or natural substances derived from lacquer trees. Furthermore, the analytical technique for the lacquer extract and the derived information on each peak can be useful for distinguishing products made of domestic lacquer or imported lacquer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
