The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating skin aging comprising evodiamine as an active ingredient. If radiating the UVB on cells, skin aging is caused by promoting Hedgehog signaling. According to the present invention, the skin aging is prevented by inhibiting the Hedgehog signaling through treating the evodiamine. Also, the evodiamine which is a natural material isolated from a plant is hardly exhibit cytotoxicity in vivo.
