The present invention relates to a method for preparing pullulan, wherein the pullulan is produced using an extract of ground cherry, and more specifically, to a method for preparing pullulan, capable of preventing the generation of melanin pigments during a preparing procedure by preparing pullulan using an extract of ground cherry, and thus a decolorizing process need not be carried out, thereby simplifying the preparation process and preventing the reduction in the yield.
