The present invention relates to a three-dimensional (3D) printer and a method of manufacturing a machinable glass ceramic molding material using the same. The 3D printer includes: a source material feeding unit to feed a glass wire which is a source material; a transfer unit to transfer the glass wire fed from the sour material feeding unit; a printing head to melt the glass wire transferred by the transfer unit and to discharge the glass wire through a nozzle; a working table to provide a space in which the melted glass wire discharged through the nozzle of the printing head is sequentially laminated to be molded in a desirable form; and a control unit to independently control the operations of the transfer unit and the printing head. The printing head is located on the upper portion of the working table. As the position of the printing head is adjusted, the molding material is manufactured in a desirable 3D form. The glass wire includes 10.0-15.0 wt% of MgO, 5.0-20.0 wt% of Al_2O_3, 45.0-55.0 wt% of SiO_2, 5.0-10.0 wt% of K_2O, and 5.0-10.0 wt% of fluorine (F). According to the present invention, the machinable glass ceramic molding material having excelling mechanical properties, thermal durability, chemical durability, and oxidation resistance, and an excellent texture by using the glass wire as the source wire can be manufactured.
