The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing bisphosphonate-related necrosis of jaw bones and for predicting prognosis thereof. The use of a biomarker of the present invention enables an early diagnosis of bisphosphonate-related necrosis of the jaw bones, and improves therapeutic effects on bisphosphonate-related necrosis of the jaw bones via a treatment and prevention method based on pathogenesis, while minimizing side effects of the treatment.
