The present invention relates to a target pulse selecting method to solve pulse ambiguity based on Mahalanobis distance. According to the present invention, the method includes: a step (S100) of calculating an intersection point for Line of Bearing (LOB); a step (S200) of determining whether the intersection point, calculated in the step (S100), is an outlier or not; and a step (S300) of setting a detection area by using remaining intersection points except the intersection point determined as the outlier in the step (S200). According to the present invention, in order to solve radar pulse ambiguity to a threat, having a smaller PRI value than a separation distance between receivers, the method is capable of solving a problem about an excessive target pulse setting area by removing an outlier from intersection points by applying the concept of Mahalanobis distance to multiple LOB intersection points when a target pulse area is set.
