Provided is a shadow rendering method which can render a soft shadow effect in real time while reducing a calculation amount necessary for shadow rendering. The shadow rendering method comprises the steps of: emitting radial light to an object so as to project a shadow area for the object generated by three-dimensional modeling; determining a portion of the shadow area as a penumbra area on the object; and rendering a penumbra on the object to the penumbra area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
