The present invention relates to an LED flash module for a mobile phone camera and a method of controlling the same, and more particularly, to an LED flash module which is capable of supplying driving power to an LED in consideration of the deviation between the standard color temperatures of LEDs serving as auxiliary light sources when an image is photographed by using the mobile phone camera, and a method of controlling the same. The LED flash module for a mobile phone camera according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: two LEDs; a memory for storing a standard color temperature of each LED and a difference (hereinafter, referred to as a standard deviation value) between the standard color temperature and an actual color temperature; a reflector positioned at an outside while being spaced apart from the two LEDs to reflect light emitted from the LEDs; a lens positioned on an upper portion of the reflector; and a driving IC for generating control power in consideration of the deviation value provided from the memory based on a control signal for turning on/off the two LEDs output from a control unit and providing the control power to the two LEDs.
