The present invention relates to a cascade aerator for purifying mine drainage and a mine drainage processing system, and more particularly, to a cascade aerator for purifying mine drainage including iron. The cascade aerator for purifying mine drainage comprises a plurality of aeration tanks stepped in a vertical direction and continuously disposed such that mine drainage flows from an upper part to a lower part in a cascade type, and receiving the mine drainage such that the mine drainage is retained therein for a predetermined time and discharged. A plurality of discharge holes are defined on an upper part of the rear end surface of the aeration tank such are a plurality of streams of water are formed when the mine drainage is discharged from the aeration tank, thus a contact area with air is increased. Moreover, a baffle is formed in the aeration tank to increase stay time of the mine drainage in the aeration tank.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
