The present invention relates to an electronic cigarette having a cartridge protection case, wherein the electronic cigarette comprises: a coupler, a mouthpiece passing through and thereby being connected to an upper portion thereof; a separator whose upper portion communicates with the mouthpiece through the coupler, and which includes a smoke transport unit such that a liquid inlet is provided on one side of a lower portion thereof; a cartridge housing installed such that gas-tight sealing is maintained between the coupler and the separator; a protection case installed so as to surround the outer circumference of the housing, and whose upper and lower ends couple with the coupler and the separator; a smoke discharge unit disposed in the center of the upper surface and connecting to the smoke transport unit; a vaporizer whose outer edge is connected with a lower portion of the separator, and which includes a wick surrounded by a coil inside the smoke discharge unit, and in which a liquid supply inlet having a certain size is installed on an outer side of the smoke discharge unit; and a power unit which is connected to a connection terminal at a lower side of the vaporizer through a control unit and thereby transmits power to the coil, and which includes a regulation unit capable of step-wise control of the power transmitted to the coil.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
