Provided is a guiding instrument for inserting a urethral catheter comprising a fluid passage and a through hole arranged at a front end. The through hole is smaller than the fluid passage. The guiding instrument for inserting a urethral catheter comprises: a body part which has an outer diameter smaller than the diameter of the fluid passage and bigger than the through hole, and extended to be longer than the urethral catheter; and an extension part extended from the front end of the body part, and having an outer diameter less than or equal to the diameter of the through hole.
