The present invention relates to an entrance and security management system for a smart terminal and to an entrance and security management method using the same, wherein security appropriate for the security level of each area can be maintained stably by presetting the security level of each area in a region where security is necessary and thereafter restricting the function of a smart terminal entering a corresponding area depending on the set security level. The entrance and security management system for a smart terminal according to the present invention comprises: a smart terminal having a location notification function and having a remotely controlled application installed thereon to restrict the function thereof; and a security management server for tracking the location information of the smart terminal where the remotely controlled application is executed, and restricting the function of the smart terminal depending on the security level preset for each area as the security level has been preset for each area where security is necessary. Information on the current location of the smart terminal is tracked by the security management server via a wireless internet connection.
