The present invention provides a method for determining a beamforming weight in an analog beamforming unit in a base station using a hybrid multi-array consisting of an analog beamforming unit and a digital beamforming unit and an apparatus therefor. The present inveniton: measures average received power and determines a main renewal direction maximizing the average received power by using a plurality of test beamforming weights which revised a currently predicted analog beamforming weight; and reduces time required for determining the analog beamforming weight maximizing the average received power by adjusting the number of test beamforming weights and a generation method by considering a change degree of the main renewal direction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
