Composition for Detecting Microbial Contamination Comprising an Agent for Detecting Nuclease in Microorganism and Uses Thereof

The present invention relates to a composition for detecting microbial contamination, and to a use of the same, wherein the composition comprises a formulation for detecting nuclease. A probe for measuring nucleic acid double strand nuclease according to the present invention can detect a comprehensive nuclease nucleic acid decomposing function. Accordingly, live microorganisms can be very rapidly and accurately detected and quantified from a sample, and a detecting method can be very conveniently performed. Moreover, the probe of the present invention has a fluorescent signal which continuously increases, can perform viable counting, is made of double strand nucleic acid, and has very excellent kit or cartridge storing properties. Thus, the probe of the present invention is expected to be used in easily and conveniently measuring contamination levels of microorganisms in the environment and comparing the contamination levels.
