The present invention relates to an integrated routing method based on a software defined network (SDN) and a system thereof which enable a packet flow between an existing legacy network and an SDN. The integrated routing method comprises the following steps of: obtaining information of a plurality of edge switches of a switch group based on the SDN; and setting an independent network as at least one virtual router.
