The present invention relates to a gene transporter (AEMA-LMWC) without cytotoxicity, having improved gene-binding ability by increasing positive charges in comparison with existing chitosan, by introducing 2-aminoethyl methacrylate (AEMA) in low molecular weight chitosan (LMWC), which is a biocompatible substance, using a radiation irradiation technology.
