Provided is a low power repeater for a digital broadcasting service using multi-input multi-output (MIMO) and broadband element technologies. The low power repeater for a digital broadcasting service according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a distributor to distribute a digital broadcasting signal; channel modules to process the digital broadcasting signal distributed from the distributor by channel; a coupler to combine and output the digital broadcasting signals processed in the channel modules; and a front end module (FEM) to amplify and apply the digital broadcasting signals received by a reception antenna, to amplify the digital broadcasting signal outputted from the channel coupler, and to transmit the digital broadcasting signals by a transmission antenna. Thus, by combining MIMO technology with a low power repeater for a digital broadcasting service, the reception sensitivity of the repeater can be effectively improved, better picture quality can be expected for viewers, and the number of low power repeaters installed can be reduced by increasing coverage.
