The present invention relates to a method of operating a joint project using a geographic information system and, more specifically, to a method of operating a joint project using a geographic information system, which allows the joint project proposed by a top-level organization with basic data stored in a server to be shared among departments, and thus allows all workers of a department to complete the joint project while the workers share a create file related to the proposed joint project in real time without copying.
