The present invention relates to a boss cap having an asymmetric fin and a propulsion apparatus for a ship having the same. The boss cap having an asymmetric fin comprises: a cap which is coupled to a boss rotated by the driving force generated by a driver; and a fin which is coupled to the cap to protrude from the cap, wherein the fin is formed in an asymmetric shape protruding in a first direction to correspond to an asymmetric propeller protruding in the first direction.
