The present invention relates to a composition capable of diagnosing a tumor causing a brain metastasis cancer, comprising a preparation capable of detecting lactic acid, 3-hydroxybutyric acid and citric acid present in cerebrospinal fluid, a kit comprising the composition and a cerebrospinal fluid 3-hydroxybutyric acid, and citric acid present in the brain of a patient, thereby providing information for diagnosing a tumor causing a brain metastasis cancer. The use of the kit of the present invention can be used for more effective treatment of brain metastasis cancer because it can diagnose a tumor causing a brain metastasis cancer such as tumor meningitis using the cerebrospinal fluid of a patient.
