The present invention relates to a bacteriophage for killing periodontitis-causing Enterococcus faecalis and, more specifically, to bacteriophage ECP3 from the Myoviridae family, which has a whole genome represented by SEQ ID NO: 1. The bacteriophage is a virus having bacteria as a host, and has no effect on a person, an animal, and the like. Therefore, the bacteriophage can be applied to medicine industries, food industries, biotechnology, etc. In addition, the bacteriophage has no problem with respect to antibiotic resistance, and can effectively kill harmful bacteria in a target place or a target material.
