Disclosed are an apparatus to prevent the resonance of underwater equipment and a method to install underwater equipment using the same. The apparatus to prevent the resonance of underwater equipment according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is to prevent the resonance of underwater equipment when the underwater equipment is installed, comprises: one or more auxiliary cables which are connected to the underwater equipment with one or more main cables to be detachable from the underwater equipment during the installation work; auxiliary cable connecting members which detachably connect the auxiliary cables to the underwater equipment; and connection retaining members which retain the connection between the auxiliary cables and the auxiliary cable connecting members.
