Provided are a method for forming a buckle decoration and the buckle decoration thereby. The method for forming a buckle decoration includes the following steps: forming a first decoration unit in an engraved shape or an embossed shape to form a decoration portion formed on a buckle to be delicate and elaborate; filling a curable material in the first decoration unit after processing surfaces of the first decoration unit and a buckle body and then curing the curable material; forming a processed decoration unit by grinding the surface of the cured curable material; plating the surfaces of the buckle body and the exposed processed decoration unit after grinding the surface to form a plated layer; attaching a decoration object in the shape of a sheet to the surfaces of the first decoration unit and the processed decoration unit by attachment after plating the surfaces; and forming a coating layer on the surfaces of the attached decoration object, the first decoration unit, and the buckle body. Accordingly, the buckle can be decorated variously and glamorously in a simple and rapid manner, and the decoration portion, which can satisfy user′s taste or needs, can be provided.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
