According to the present invention, disclosed is a system control technology related with forest protection and disaster prevention. The water screen control system and a driving method thereof according to an embodiment of the present invention can improve initial response time remarkably by being able to monitor and be reported with current emergency situation through a remote control smart phone using 2D data or 3D data collected from an image capturing device in case of forest fire breakout or similar disaster occurrence, by not only collecting the previously photographed 2D image data or 3D image data using an exclusive application content for a water screen tower but also monitoring and managing an operation state of the image capturing device, a remote controller or a firefighting pump control facility in real-time, by controlling the operation state of the image capturing device which is installed at a fixed spot in the forest and photographs the disaster state of a corresponding zone in real-time.
