Video Processing System and Method with GPGPU Embedded Streaming Architecture

An image processing system and method using G-ESA are provided. The image processing system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a CPU that controls a GPU and a GPU for collectively processing input images and outputting a processing result, and receiving a processing result from a GPU. This allows the GPU to process the image processing functions in a centralized manner, thereby reducing the communication overhead between the CPU and the GPU, thereby improving the overall system performance.
