A light absorption coefficient measuring system for an aerosol sample includes a light source unit, an optical path adjusting unit, a heating unit, a polarization adjusting unit, a measuring unit, and a calculating unit. The optical path adjusting unit guides the light generated by the light source unit to pass through a measuring target after dividing the light into first and second light and adjusts the first and second light to make a path difference. The heating unit executes a heating operation for one of the light beams. The polarization adjusting unit receives interfering light of the first and second lights to adjust the polarization state. The measuring unit obtains measurement values corresponding to the light amount of a polarization component. The calculation unit calculates the difference and generates a feedback signal to the polarization adjusting unit or calculates the light absorption coefficient of the measurement target according to the difference. Accordingly, the present invention can measure the light absorption coefficient of the aerosol more easily and accurately.
