scalable blade and rack servers based on a common architecture and clocking method. The common reference clock source is configured to provide a clock input signal synchronized to the server in the plurality of blade servers and rack servers in the blade. The reference clock signal is used to clock the operations related to the serial link interconnection between QuickPath interconnect (QuickPath Interconnect (QPI)) link, such as PCIe link blades and / or server. Serial interconnect link may be routed via electrical or optical cable or between blade server. A common reference clock input and inter blade or inter-server interconnection scheme is scalable scale or a plurality of blade servers to be linked together to enable communication. Also, the QPI link has been provided by the coherent memory transaction on the server when used with blades or three minutes and parallelism so that it can be used for parallel processing applications. ;
