METHOD TO MANUFACTURE LOCK NUT BY FORGING AND LOCK NUT MANUFACTURED BY SAME

The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a block nut by forging and the lock nut manufactured by the same, whose objective is to improve productivity by shortening a manufacturing time and to reduce production costs by mass productions, by processing a fixing groove inserted with a locking member of the lock nut not to be penetrated in order to facilitate forging. The method to manufacture the lock nut by forging of the present invention comprises: a fixed groove forming forging process of forging and forming a fixed groove which is inclined to increase a gap with a center hole along a circumferential direction from an inner surface of the center hole of a middle product along a longitudinal direction by a plastic working method by inserting a middle product processed in the nut forming process into a mold; and a tapping process of forming a female screw in the center hole of the middle product where the fixed groove is formed.
