The present invention provides a fast crash recovery method through a flash storage system and a flash translation layer of the flash storage system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the fast crash recovery method through a flash storage system and a flash translation layer comprises the steps of: loading super blocks of a plurality of NAND flash memories to search for a suspect work area working when abnormal finishing occurs in each NAND flash memory, wherein each super block stores a location of metadata stored in a prescribed work area for each NAND flash memory, the size of the work area, and a work area normally finished for the last time before the abnormal finishing occurs; loading meta blocks of the NAND flash memories in which the metadata of the work area is stored to detect a target work area in which a crash occurs in the suspect work area searched for each NAND flash memory; and reconstructing a mapping table of a target NAND flash memory including the detected target work area according to a prescribed recovery technique.
