METHOD OF PRODUCING WHITE KOREAN ROSEBAY SEEDLING

The present invention relates to a method of producing a white Korean rosebay seedling and, more particularly, to a method of producing a white Korean rosebay seedling, the method of planting a white Korean rosebay seed in root media, maintaining the white Korean rosebay seed planted in the root media on an electric heated hot bed at a temperature of 20 to 30°C to germinate the white Korean rosebay seed, and transplanting the germinated white Korean rosebay seed, thereby controlling shading. The present invention is capable of providing a beautiful white Korean rosebay flower as an ornamental flower by providing a method of producing a seedling of white Korean rosebay that is a rare variety white flower in Korean rosebay being used as an ornamental flower. A method of producing a white Korean rosebay seedling according to the present invention includes: a step a) of separating a seed from a pod of a white Korean rosebay seed in a white Korean rosebay seedling; a step b) of sowing the seed of the step a) in root media injected onto a cutting bed, and covering the sowed seed with granite soil; a step c) of irrigating the granite soil-covered seed sown in the root media on an electric heated hot bed after the soil covering, and then maintaining the irrigated granite soil-covered seed sown in the root media on the electric heated hot bed at a temperature of 20 to 30°C, thereby germinating the seed to obtain a white Korean rosebay seedling; a step d) of transplanting the germinated white Korean rosebay seedling; and a step e) of shading the transplanted white Korean rosebay seedling with a 60 to 80% shading net for 20 to 40 days, and then continuously shading the primarily shaded transplanted white Korean rosebay seedling with a 40 to 50% shading net by the autumn (during the growth duration) to produce a white Korean rosebay seedling.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
