The present invention is to provide prestressed H-piles and a construction method for freestanding temporary retaining using the same, wherein high freestanding is possible without using an adjacent site. To achieve this, according to the present invention, the prestressed H-piles comprises: H-piles (100) composed of a flange (120) and an H-beam (110); an upper fixing device (200) composed of a square container body (210) and a tension member fixing unit (220); a lower fixing device (300) composed of a square pipe body (310) and a tension member fixing unit (320); and a tension member tightening device (600) composed of a pair of steel plates (610), a plurality of steel bars (620), and a fixing nut (630).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
