The present invention relates to a method for improving MPPT efficiency of a solar inverter in case of partial shading. The method comprises: step (a) of following a maximum power point until a change of current power becomes smaller than a preset first threshold value; step (b) of randomly generating speed of each particle; step (c) of calculating or updating an optimized location per a particle and the total optimized location in accordance with conformity; step (d) of calculating or updating the total optimized location with the best conformity in a mutant particle group; and step (e) of performing step (a) in case of a predetermined condition while alternately and repetitively performing step (c) and step (d). Therefore, even though shading occurs, the maximum power point can be always followed.
