The present invention relates to a tank for disposal of domestic animals and a method for disposal of domestic animal carcasses using the same. The tank includes: a tank housing (11) which has a cylindrical shape for receiving domestic animal carcasses and is designed for use in vertical embedding to embed domestic animal carcasses in the underground vertically and downwardly in the direction of the central axis of the cylinder; a carrying-out plate formed at the bottom of the inner part of the tank housing (11) for carrying the domestic animal carcasses rotted completely in the tank housing (11) out of the tank; and an oxygen-feeding/leachate-extracting pipe (11d) formed by allowing a pipe extended from the exterior to penetrate through the sidewall of the tank housing (11), so that it may be extended vertically and downwardly while being in close contact with the inside of the sidewall and finally extended to a region formed at the lower part of the carrying-out plate in which the leachate is received. According to the present invention, the cylindrical tank is designed as a vertical type and the upper end thereof becomes an opening/closing port as a whole so that relatively large domestic animals may be received therein easily.
