The present invention relates to a water turbine structure for power generation using a tidal current which converts the flow of the tidal current into rotational energy by being installed in a seashore having a great difference in height between a low tide and a high tide. The water turbine structure for power generation using a tidal current comprises: a conical main body of which inside is hollow and has the diameter of an inlet to be larger than the diameter of an outlet; a plurality of streamlined blades which has a predetermined interval in the main body and protrudes inwards slantingly at a predetermined angle in a horizontal direction; a first shaft support frame which is installed across the inlet of the main body; a second shaft support frame which is installed across the outlet of the main body; and a horizontal shaft which is installed to be combined through a shaft by penetrating a space between a first bearing installed in the center of the first shaft support frame and a second bearing installed in the center of the second shaft support frame. The present invention is able to: maximize the efficiency of tidal current energy by generating rotational energy with the flow velocity of an outlet, which is faster than the flow velocity of an inlet, by using a conical water turbine having a hollow inside which has the diameter of the inlet which is larger than the diameter of the outlet which rotates in accordance with the flow of a tidal current; and improve the convenience of maintenance and management by a simple structure.
