Disclosed is a degradation diagnosis system based on multipoint temperature measurement, the degradation diagnosis system capable of closely diagnosing temperature of and degradation generated in an electricity facility and a mechanical facility, e.g. a switchboard and a distribution panel, a motor facility such as a pump and a motor, or a connection part, thereby preventing an accident in advance. Also, disclosed is a degradation diagnosing method thereof. To this end, an example embodiment of the present invention comprises: multiple temperature sensor units measuring one or more monitored areas to generate temperature data of the monitored areas; and a data diagnosis processing device generating reconstituted matrix data with at least one set of temperature data received from the temperature sensor units via a wireless network, conducting a degradation diagnosis of each of the monitored areas using the matrix data, and outputting a warning if a result of the degradation diagnosis is greater than or equal to a reference value. Thus, the example embodiment can diagnose degradation and monitoring of a wide monitored area at once from a distance by reconstituting temperature data obtained by measurement at the multipoint of the monitored area to single matrix data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
